Clinical Psychologist
I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. I provide psychotherapy and psychological assessment services for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, injury-related psychological concerns, and other complex mental health difficulties.
Many adults seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, difficult life experiences, or significant life transitions. Others are coping with physical health concerns or injuries that have disrupted their daily functioning and sense of well-being. My goal is to help clients better understand their experiences while developing practical strategies for meaningful and lasting change.
I also have extensive experience supporting clients involved in Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) recovery, WSIB claims, and rehabilitation-related mental health care. In these contexts, therapy often involves not only emotional healing, but also rebuilding confidence, identity, and day-to-day functioning after injury or disruption. I work collaboratively with clients to support both psychological recovery and functional progress in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatment, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Mindfulness-based approaches, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I tailor therapy to each individual, focusing on understanding the patterns that keep you stuck while developing strategies that support emotional regulation, resilience, and long-term well-being.
As a South Asian psychologist, I bring a culturally responsive lens to my work and understand how culture, family expectations, immigration experiences, and identity can shape mental health. I provide care that is respectful, inclusive, and sensitive to cultural context. I am fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, which allows me to support clients in the language they feel most comfortable expressing themselves in.
My goal is to provide a therapeutic environment that is compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative, where clients can explore difficult experiences at a pace that feels manageable while working toward meaningful change.
Reaching out for support can be a meaningful first step toward change. If you are looking for a psychologist who values collaboration, evidence-based care, and cultural responsiveness, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
